Application Process Overview

Application
Fill out the application/reapplication form found on the camp website. Be thorough and be sure to include any information that would be helpful. You will be asked to include three references who would be willing to fill out a recommendation form. The process will not be continued until written recommendations are completed.

Recommendations
We are legally required to have written references on file for all camp staff. The director will not proceed to an interview until all recommendations are complete.

Interview/Response
Once recommendations are complete and the application has been reviewed, the staff candidate may receive an email with a link to sign up to interview. After the interview, the staff can expect a response ranging from immediately to a few weeks or months later, depending on the position applied for and the needs of camp.

Offer
Candidates who are accepted will receive an email or phone call with a position offer.

Onboarding
Between when a staff member is hired and the beginning of employment staff are required to:
1. Sign a contract
2. Submit necessary forms on WorkBright
3. Complete pre-camp training (read handbook, etc.)

Arrive and Begin Work
Staff may not begin work before forms are completed. There are generally 3 different start dates:
