If your camper did not come home with all of their belongings, or if they returned with something that doesn’t belong to them, please contact our camp office. We hold clothing, towels, and general items for 1-2 months. Valuable items, such as electronics, guitars, and money, are kept for 2-3 months. Items like eyeglasses and Bibles are held for an extended period.

Our pet and emotional-support-animal-friendly area is the RV Park Loop. For the safety of all of our guests, and protection of the natural environment, Camp Au Sable does not allow pets on the boardwalk or in any lodges, cabins, eating areas, program areas, or activity areas. For more information regarding accommodations for service animals, contact the camp office or the leader of the event.

Camp Au Sable's electric grid is not set up to support electric vehicle charging at any volume, and we are not able to provide gasoline for personal vehicles, except in emergency situations to help get someone to the nearest fueling station. There are several EV charging stations in town that we recommend, including FamilyFare, Dairy Queen, and Kirtland Community College. If an individual does need to charge their EV during their stay, they are encouraged to ask about the availability to rent an RV site and use the electric hookups there. Registered guests of the camp may fish on Camp Au Sable's privately owned lake, Lake Shellenbarger, except during Sabbath hours, providing they follow all posted signs and our catch-and-release policy. For more questions, feel free to reach out to the camp office.
