Julia Hansen - Office Manager
Hi, my name is Julia Hansen. I am the camp's office manager. Coordinating reservations, handling all paper work, taking camp photos, and dabbling in the landscaping of the camp keep my days full and active. Camp is the best place to live and work. My husband Dan, daughter Stephanie, and I moved to Michigan from Texas in 2005. I love Michigan, God has truly blessed our family beyond measure when He led us to Camp Au Sable. I pray that as you visit you will be blessed with the “peace that passes all understanding” and come away knowing you have spent time in God’s creation growing closer to Him.

Michelle Fisher - Assistant Health Ministries Coordinator
Hello, my name is Michelle Fisher. I am the Assistant Health Ministries Coordinator at Camp Au Sable. I have been at camp for three years and am grateful to be a part of a ministry that has such great outreach. Every group that comes up brings new opportunities to share the love of Jesus and the talents He has allowed me to have for His glory.
I lived in Northville, Mich., and had a bakery and restaurant before the Lord called me to camp. I prayed He would find a buyer for both of those businesses, and I would never do that type of work again. Of course, God had a different idea. He sent a buyer for the businesses in July and called me here in October. Isn't God wonderful? My ten-year-old grandson, Henry, lives with me at camp. it is his job to make life interesting, and he is very good at it. He is a joy in my life. We continue to praise the Lord for His goodness in calling us to Camp Au Sable and for the opportunity is affords us to live in this wonderful place.

Dawn Toms - House Keeping
Hello, I have been an Adventist since 2000. I was a truck driver when I first came to the church. God watched over me while I was out on the road by myself. I got tired of being gone all the time and found a position teaching truck driving. That is where I met my husband. We have six children between the two of us. Events happened, and I became a substitute Para-Pro and Bus Aide for a special needs school. I prayed for more hours, found out the camp was hiring, and became an employee in June of 2009. Praise God. Where else can you work and see God's beauty everyday, to see an eight point buck 15 feet away laying down and he doesn't move when you are that close. I truly have been blessed.
